A comprehensive set of tapered sockets for removing worn or damaged wheel nuts or other similar nuts. • Sizes: 18, 19. 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25mm. • Driving rod 17 x 180mm – 6 point. • Driving rod 22 x 180mm – 6 Point. • CR-V sockets hardened to HRC 45-50. • Phosphate coating to protect sockets from corrosion. • Zinc coating for rods Instructions: Select a socket that fits approximately half way over the nut. Centre the socket and using the supplied rod hit it with a 1kg hammer until the socket is firmly locked on the nut. The socket can now be used to remove the locking nut using a standard hand wrench. Do not use an impact wrench. The wheel nut can be released from the socket using the supplied rod. In some cases it may be necessary to grind the socket to reduce the length or thickness to make a good fit.
