This tool by Alta Performance is designed for Mini Cooper S R53 hatchback model years 2002-2006 or R52 convertible model years 2005-2008. The tool is used to remove the original supercharger pulley when fitting an aftermarket pulley. The tool is made of of two main pieces that are installed around the pulley and bolted together to secure the tool to the pulley, then a standard automotive pulley puller tool can be used in combination with the AMP-ENG-200BK to remove the original pulley from the supercharger shaft.
