After years of engine building you learn a few things about hand honing that are really helpful. Outer diameter of the bottom is 4.5" Top is 2.5"Total length 6.125"These are lighter better balanced smoother than a metal stop and very durableIts very important when you hone to get as far down in the bore as you can without hitting the main webs. If you don't you will have a tapered cylinder smaller at the bottom and it will be almost impossible to get it back straight. If you hit the main webs it will damage the honing stones and possibly injure you when the hone locks up.When used properly this will help you judge were the bottom of the cylinder is.If the hone your using has nicks and damage on the shaft some are slightly oversized you may have to file and polish the shaft to make the bearings slide smoothly Includes Bearings installed in the travel coneClamping collars to hold the cone in the proper place after settingMade right here in the USA from a very durable plastic that wont damage your work piece.Light but very strong.DOES NOT INCLUDE THE CYLINDER HONE PICTURED
