This is an oil filter block off plug for the following Mercedes Benz engines; M70/274 M260/264 M276/278 This oil filter plug prevents debris falling into the oil filter housing when performing repairs when the oil filter needs to be removed. Top of the plug has a 3/8 square for easy installation. No need for power tools on this plug, screw in by hand with an extension. ** Do not forget to install oil filter after repairs made, I will not be held responsible for damage to engines if you forget to install the oil filter**
